This is a Vancouver Island vacation rental. This rustic waterfront cabin offers a true escape from city life into the serene forest surrounding Sooke BC. Situated on 3 acres of waterfront, the rugged coastline provides great storm watching in the winter. In the summer, the beaches provide sunbathing and picnic opportunities as well as swimming for the brave. Oceanfront quaint 1 bedroom cabin. Stunning ocean views in isolated forest. Footpath access to 3 different private beaches.
The cabin was originally built during the depression. A string of these cabins were then built, dotting the coast from Port Renfrew to Victoria. This is one of the last remaining cabins. It was inhabited by the Potter sisters until the 1960’s when the property was sold to the present owners who maintained the cabin as a piece of the local history. Summer: May 1 - September 30: $85/night or $510 a week
Winter: October 1 - April 30: $65/night or $390 a week
* minimum 2 night stay *
Includes:
- new bathroom with shower and toilet
- small kitchenette with microwave, sink, fridge, and all required dishes and utensils
- outdoor barbecue
- 1 bedroom with queen size bed
- sitting area that looks onto the water.
Cabin suitable for two guests. No pets please.
